Almost There
Walking into the new brewery in its current state it is hard to believe that the towering vessels, pristine walls and grand mahogany bar occupy a space that was once nothing more than dust and debris. After many months work, the brewery at Dunsley Farm is now only a matter of weeks from being fully functional. If you are a regular visitor to our current brewery please keep your eyes peeled for e-mails confirming the handover to the new site. There will of course be local press coverage and at some point in the following months an "official" launch event. Unlike England's World cup performance this promises to be something worth waiting for and something to be enjoyed for years to come!

Punk, Folk and Ale
Sounds like a heady mix but if you were fortunate to have been at Pendley Court Theatre on Friday 11th June you will have seen the incredible talent of Adrian Edmondson and The Bad Shepherds performing a huge repertoire of punk classics in a folk style. The musical equivalent of a Heston Blumenthal recipe maybe, but trust me, it works. With a backstage rider that included local ale, I was on hand to meet the comic legend and star of The Young Ones and Bottom and present an assortment of our finest beers to Ade and his band. Quickly emptied glasses held aloft onstage with appreciative comments about our "terrific tipples" seemed to ring true with those in the crowd supping pints of our Side Pocket for a Toad.
If you missed this great night then fear not, this weekend marks the beginning of two weeks of comedy (Tringe Festival) and events at Pendley Court Theatre.
There will be Tring Brewery beer at the bar! For more info click HERE

Rising Sun
Nope, not a reference to the canal-side pub in Berhkamsted (that serves up a good Tring Brewery pint, amongst others), but somewhere a little further afield. That's right folks we are talking Japan, a country where you will discover the serenity of Mount Fuji, the chaos of hi-tech Tokyo, Manga animation, Bullet trains, sumo wrestling and nearly 130 million people spread out across the 3000 islands that make up this incredible country AND very soon our very own bottled Death or Glory beer. Okay so we are not shipping out enough for everyone, just a very lucky few!!!

Great British Beer Festival 2010
Once again Tring Brewery has been invited to provide beer for the Great British Beer Festival. This time it's our Mansion Mild that will be caressing the taste buds of attendees. For more information on the GBBF, which takes place at Earls Court from 3rd - 7th August, click HERE.

Monthly Special -
Lunardi's Pale Ale

Here's something a bit special for the hot Summer days. A refreshing but rich golden coloured beer using East Kent Goldings to impart a pleasant fruity accompaniment to the subtle malt flavours.
As with all our monthly specials, it is available for a limited period only. Click here to for more information on all Tring Brewery's 2010 monthly specials.

Recipe of the Month
The modern smoke signal device otherwise referred to as the BBQ saw the light of day last weekend sending a message to all around that Summer had indeed arrived. What better way to celebrate this than with the staple of all British BBQ meals, the burger. This is no ordinary burger though!!!
