Tring Brewery Logo
February 2012

Hello again <<First Name>>

It's February and right now it is freezing cold. The perfect weather for a wintry stroll out to your local pub where hopefully a roaring fireplace and pint of one of our darker beers awaits. Alternatively, jump in the car, head over to our shop, pick the beer of your choice and curl up at home. You don't even need to bother with the pint glass then. Drinking straight from a 3 litre bottle.....it has been known to happen!!

Meet Molly
Just at the time when we could do with another pair of hands in the brewery, the boss goes and buys something with 4 paws!! That's right we now have a brewery dog and at 2 months old she has a lot to learn. Learning to sit, stay still, not bark and decant beer. Right now the ferocious beast resides in our office out of the brew-house and out of the shop but I am sure she will be making some behind the bar appearances soon.

Random placements
Thanks to a bit of blatant self promotion and indeed the promotion of their sponsors, Dan of MTB Berkhamsted managed too get the Tring Brewery logo emblazoned across pages of a local national mountain bike magazine.
Cheers Guys

Banger

Now we all know beer is good and a lot of us like sausages. So what about a sausage cooked with beer? Well in collaboration between butcher, Jo Collier of Eastwoods of Berkhamsted and Paul Philips, publican of the The Greyhound Wigginton and ourselves, the Ridgeway Sausage was born. Never Mix Beer and Politics
We've said it before and then Mr Cameron was filmed, sinking a pint of our beer followed by comments on how good it was. Now step forward MP for South West Herts, David Gauke, who visited the brewery last week to present a certificate in recognition of our traditional session ale, Brock Bitter, having been served at the Strangers Bar in the House of Commons.
Tring People have put together a little article on the visit HERE.

Odd Job 4.2%

This year all our monthly specials are brewed and hopped with an array of British hop varieties. This time round is the turn of Northdown hops in Odd Job.
The addition of pinhead oats to this copper coloured ale results in a full and rounded palate. Northdown hops are known for delivering a rich aroma and soft but bold bitterness, perfect for this style of ale.

As with all our monthly specials, it is available for a limited period only. Click HERE to for more information on all Tring Brewery's 2012 monthly specials.

Recipe of the Month
After a month break, having over indulged at Christmas, we are back on track with another great recipe. This time round it is ox liver with bacon, onions and ale. Click HERE for all our recipes.
